My sister-in-law had her first baby who I sewed a whole bunch of things for. Here's a scanned polaroid of one of them, a rainbow zebra quilt, the day before I finished it.
I finally bought a sewing machine
cabinet! I looked for about 6 months, at both new and old, before buying this one.
Woodworking! I inherited my Grandfather's 1958 Delta 9" tilting arbor table saw and 4" jointer and am still in the process of cleaning all the rust and other nasty stuff off of them. :) They're good sturdy power tools to add to my shop in the garage, and will really help in building my current project, a desk.
Our 4 cats, Nicki (Rat), Pumpkin (Cutie), Mittens (Squeaky), and
Thomas
(Stinky) keep me pretty occupied and are a lot of fun! I have pictures of them on the pics page.
I don't cook much right now, but still
enjoy it. I am, however, still ammassing huge
MasterCook
Archives.
Here are a few recipes from my personal Cookbook. :)
I have also been following Weight Watchers
off and on, and created some restaurant points databases compatible with the Palm Pilot.
I used to sew a lot of my own clothes, but
nowadays my sewing is more limited to repairing our old clothes, making
duvet covers for us (I love new sheets!), quilting, and sewing the
occasional nice dress for myself too. :)
