The shelf for the computer will have a 'center slide' so that it can be slid out the back (after opening the access door) or front of the desk so the computer can be accessed to be opened up and worked on from either side. I still don't know if I'll put lights in that 'computer compartment' or not.
The bottom shelves will be fixed, and the other shelves adjustable. All wires and cables will be carried in channels inside the upper moulding, and also underneath the bottom fixed shelves when necessary. They will come out of oak grommets in the desk top.
